Forex Economic Calendar
This week's scheduled economic releases for the 8 major currencies — USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, AUD, NZD and CAD — plus CNY data (a mover of AUD and NZD) and global events such as central-bank symposiums. Each release carries its impact rating, and where the source publishes them the consensus forecast and the previous reading — and the actual figure once it is published, with times in UTC and your local time alongside. It is the same calendar our AI Daily Forecast weighs for gap risk before publishing each day's trade plans.
This Week's Scheduled Releases

7 releasesTuesday, October 6
18 releasesWednesday, October 7
9 releasesThursday, October 8
17 releasesFriday, October 9
7 releasesScheduled releases with consensus forecast and previous reading; the schedule is refreshed several times a day, Sunday to Friday. Released (actual) figures are filled in as they come out. Green marks a release rated good for the currency and red one rated bad. That rating arrives with the figure and is not a comparison with the consensus printed next to it: a figure can beat the consensus and still be rated bad. A figure that came in exactly on the consensus is marked as such. Results are collected as they land, from 4 September 2026 onward. A release that has come and gone without a figure reaching us is left out of the list rather than shown blank; for the first two hours after a release the row stays with a dash, since the figure may still arrive. 24 releases are not listed this week for that reason. Low-impact releases are hidden by default; use the impact filter to show them.
How to Read the Economic Calendar
What an economic calendar is
An economic calendar lists the macroeconomic releases and events scheduled for the days ahead — inflation and growth figures, central-bank decisions, employment data — together with the market's consensus forecast and the previous reading. Currency prices react to the gap between expectation and outcome: a release that lands far from consensus can move the affected currency within seconds, while a figure exactly in line often passes quietly.
Impact ratings
- High — releases that regularly move the affected currency: CPI inflation, central-bank rate decisions, US Non-Farm Payrolls, GDP. Around these, price can jump straight through support, resistance and stop levels — gap risk.
- Medium — data that moves the market when it surprises: confidence surveys, secondary inflation gauges, housing figures.
- Low — routine statistics that rarely move prices on their own. They are hidden by default here to keep the schedule readable.
Times and coverage
All times are shown in UTC, with your local time underneath each entry. The calendar covers the current week (Sunday to Saturday) for the 8 major currencies plus CNY — Chinese data is a frequent mover of AUD and NZD — and global events marked for all markets, such as central-bank symposiums. The schedule is refreshed several times a day from Sunday to Friday, and released (actual) values are added alongside an event shortly after publication. A release that comes and goes without a figure reaching us is left out of the list rather than shown blank, so what you see here is the week's schedule minus those.
How ForexSentiment uses this calendar
Since August 2026 the same calendar feeds the prompt of our AI Daily Forecast: a high-impact release on either currency of a pair is weighed as gap risk when the model writes each day's trade plans, and the events it considered are recorded with every forecast. A calendar bounds what is scheduled, not what can happen — an empty day is never a promise of a quiet session. Pair it with our volatility analysis to see how wide each pair's typical range currently is, and with the trading signals for the technical picture on all 29 markets.
